The network has been growing steadily, but joining a community can feel daunting. It’s not always clear how to get involved beyond signing up, and it can seem hard to find your way into what looks like an established in-group.
That’s why we’re hosting an informal meetup for new members. Get to know us and each other, put some of the faces behind the web interface and learn about how we organize the network – or hope to facilitate all the ways in which you like to engage with it!
We’re calling it a “Network Fika.” Fika is the Swedish word for taking a coffee break together – a cultural practice shared across the world: a relaxed moment to pause, chat, and just hang out.
We plan to make this a regular event, but since it’s our first one, things may be a little rough around the edges. There will be plenty of time for questions at the end.
