Invitation: I.N.S.E.C.T. Research summer camp 2025 Recap

Presentation of the insights and experiences from I.N.S.E.C.T. Research summer camp 2025

4th December, 17:00 – 18:00 CET

Join our sharing about our latest I.N.S.E.C.T. Research summer camp 2025, which focused on Amplifying Vibrational Relationships. On the 4th December, we will share our insights and experiences from this year’s research summer camp. Bringing together different disciplines, lived experiences and backgrounds, we spent a week in a beautiful old scout camp in Denmark, where we explored weaving of different materials as well as human and more-than-human relationships.

The I.N.S.E.C.T. Summercamp, now in its fourth year, brings together people from diverse backgrounds, e.g. design researchers, artists, architects, ecologists, biologists, biotremologists and more. We call ourselves the I.N.S.E.C.T. Collective.

The camp is based on co-creation, which means that our vision is just a starting point and framework for you to bring your ideas, questions, and interests so we can explore and manifest them together. However, over the past years we have developed a certain methodology that supports us in connecting with specific aspects of the local ecosystem and merging human and more-than-human perspectives. Co-creation and embodiment are foundations for our human ways to connect to each other and the environment, expanded by a specific focus on a local ecosystem and related companion species (a method we developed inspired by Haraway’s Camille Stories). The two perspectives are worked with through the focus groups Mapping Ecologies, Becoming, and Critical Making.
