This June, following the UN Ocean Conference, TBA21–Academy will host the Ocean comm/uni/ty Festival 2025: a digital gathering where art, ecology, design, and imagination intertwine in service of the ocean and regenerative futures.
Curated as a living digital ecosystem, the festival explores three interwoven themes:
- Imagination (seeds): Envisioning possible futures for and with the ocean through speculative and regenerative thinking.
- Kinship (blooms): Deepening our connection to the ocean through collective practices like storytelling, listening, contemplation, and shared experience.
- Action (harvests): Generating tangible contributions — be it a manifesto, poem, ritual, artwork or a collection — to the Ocean-Archive.org and beyond.
Contributions may include talks, workshops, listening sessions, poetic gestures, digital rituals or experimental formats. Honoraria of €150 are available for selected contributors.
